Archiving The Internet with Jason Scott

All too often these days we hear a news story about another website that's shutting down, deleting hundreds of thousands of web pages — simply destroying the history they contain. How are we preserving archives in the digital age? The Internet Archive is a tremendous resource for preservation. What are they preserving? How? What is getting missed?
