Conversations at conferences, blog post and twitter debates have gotten geekier and geekier, debating the finer points of performance enhancements or deployment stacks. But what about the everyday developer? What is a "normal" person who makes websites for a living thinking about? Are they keeping up with the latest trends? Do they care about Grunt vs Gulp? How can people keep up? Where to new developers fit in? How might the people who deeply understand the web technology no longer deeply understand the web industry?
